There's little to say that won't end up splayed across these pages anyway, but here are the basics: I'm Sarah, I'm 22 and in September I finished an MA in Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Durham University. I've been writing and editing for various websites (and even the odd bit of print) for a few years, and this blog is intended as a sort of archive for all of that output (except for live blogs, such as the Bubble Oscar Blogs of 2011 and 2012). The plan is that one day, when a bizarre cult springs up in my honour in a post-apocalyptic dystopian future, this will all come in handy for the shrine.
I served as Deputy Editor on The Bubble, the online journal based in Durham, for the academic year 2011-2012, and as Columns Editor for the previous year; I've also written for the Durham student newspaper, Palatinate, in print and online, and more recently a five-part series for Spooky Isles, a site devoted to horror and the supernatural in the UK and ROI. The title of every article published elsewhere acknowledges this and, where applicable, the section in which it was published.
Basically, I like writing, and I'd quite like to keep doing it. I'll probably write for you if you ask nicely.
